Paw CBD is a sub-brand of cbdMD for pets, and has a more whimsical and colorful feel. The branding was already set in place when I was put on the project, but it had quite a dated feel and the website was difficult to navigate. A very important factor in sales of this brand is making sure that the customers understand the product, which is a more difficult task when it comes to CBD.
In the redo, I tried to cut down a lot of repetition in the text that was lengthening the page and was too wordy for consumers to want to read. There was a lot of extra space that wasn’t adding any value to the page, so I was able to cut a lot of pixels out of the page in order for the page to be a shorter scroll for users. Consistency was also a major factor I tried to incorporate in the website redesign, which adds a level of value to the brand. There were a lot of little elements that I took out that helped both the aesthetics to create a cleaner look, and also helped the responsiveness and functionality of the website.
